Due to the 2nd set retiral of Maria Kirilenko, Marion progresses to the next round of the Rogers Cup.
Two breaks of serve secured Marion the first set 6-2. However, soon after a ten minute trainer delay, Kirilenko retired a break down in the 2nd set.
Marion meets Dinara Safina this evening in the 3rd round.
