Marion played Voskoboeva in round 1 of last years US Open, and won comfortably in straight sets.

Update 14:50

The match with Voskoboeva is not on Monday's order of play. So Marion should play Tuesday.

PS. Svetlana Kuznetsova has just beaten Agnieszka Radwanska 6-2 6-4 in the China Open. So this can help Marion's Doha chances.

Update 12 Oct 17:58

As I interpret it, Marion still has a slim chance of travelling to Doha as an alternate. She is in 11th position, and 215 points behind Radwanska who is in 10th position in the Race. If Marion wins Osaka she earns around 300 points. If this is wrong, you are welcome to speak up.
